Bluegrass & Barrel started as a notebook — a Louisville couple's running list of which tour operators their out-of-town friends actually loved. After a hundred recommendations, it became a website.

We are not a booking platform. We don't take commissions. We don't accept paid placements. The list is curated by humans who live here, drink here, and have ridden in nearly every Sprinter van on this list.

If a tour operator on this directory ever lets you down, we want to hear about it. Likewise, if a small craft outfit is changing the game and we've missed it — tell us. The Commonwealth has too much good whiskey for any list to ever be finished.
